With 3d Decoupage, does anyone make their own designs?

My first picture I made was of some pansies in a vase which turned out pretty good. I am not the best artist in the world though, and find it hard to come up with inspiration of what 3d picture to make. Does anyone have any tips regarding this issue?

If you are doing original artwork I would suggest subjects of personal interest to you or the recipients if for a gift. A portrait of a family member or pet, part of your garden, the view from your home or a favourite beauty spot or holiday location.

Colour photocopying is not cheap. Some of the prices advertised for decoupage sheets are ridiculously high. Try Craft Creations www.craftcreations.com Price goes down with quantity 10, 25, 50 ......500 starting at only 27p sheet. A lot of the designs are too cutesy-poo though. Le Suh do a bigger and more sophisticated range. They should cost about 70p to 80p a sheet. If you are not buying many try to find a local stockist stationer or craft shop so you won't have to pay postage.
Reply:photo copy any picture you like several times, then cut out, cutting more off each different sheet as you go along, cheaper than buying decoupage sheets,.
