im going to start working out daily, but i know what how to start. what should my routine be? I want to be balanced tho. not like, fouced on one thing. and i want to be strong and look strong. not just look strong but really be a pansy...

How do i get strong fast?
1. First thing, get a membership to the gym nearest you.

2. Buy protein shake mix

3. Buy multi-vitamins

4. Watch all the Rocky movies

5. begin working out...drink a protein shake before AND after every workout.

-Don't ever work the same muscle 2 days in a row

-I suggest going 5 days a week...focusing on arms and abs monday Wednesday Friday....legs and Stamina (running) Tuesday Thursday.

-Begin every workout with a 10 min run on the tread mill

-work Biceps using curls

-triceps with free weights or a machine

-abs with crunches

-stomach by benching (make sure someone is spotting you)

for legs I suggest squatting or dumbbell squatting

-work your quads

-in 2 months you will see results...ask a trainer for the proper weights, and remember....watch rocky..it gives great motivation.
Reply:Devote whole workouts to certain parts of your body. One day do chest and back, the next do arms and shoulders, and the next do abs and legs. Then rest for a day. Rest is one of the most important parts of getting stronger.
Reply:you have to do sit up every day like 50 or 100 also go jogging or do push ups
Reply:push ups, curls with 100pound weights, u should be able to bench your own weight and more
Reply:Alternating working out your arms and legs and do cardio every day
Reply:A good weight lifting program will help, I would focus on your biceps, triceps and pecs to have a nice strong look. Mainly bench press, incline press, military press will help with your upper body. To get a six pack or at least toned ab muscles do weighted crunches (if you don't have access to a gym get yourself a medicine ball and do crunches with it) Also to help if you have access to a lap pool do some swimming every so often to work your arms. I'd strongly recommend to research the different types of strokes that work your arms and upper body, plus it helps stretch out all those muscles either before or after a lifting session. (I prefer afterwards but it's all up to you. I tend to hurt myself more when I swim before lifting)

Check out menshealth.com they have great info on fitness. Also my husband recommends the men's health personal trainer. You can get a free 30 day trial and you can set up any fitness plan you'd like.
