Pansies as indoor plants?

It's gotten cold outside and I want to bring these plants indoors. They're pansies from a local nursery. What do I have to do to keep them growing and healthy? Thanks for the advice.

Pansies as indoor plants?
I live in Missouri and I've never had a bit of luck wintering them over even with bringing them indoors and using timed gro-lights. I have a pretty good green thumb but maybe I'm just unlucky with pansys, (which I love). :(

Never say die, though! I've been told it's impossible to winter petunias or start certain plants from seed. I accomplished both. Sometimes staying uninformed enough to know something is "impossible" is a good thing! :D
Reply:It sounds has if you live in a cold winter country?? I'm in Queensland Australia and our winters are mild our pansy plants do okay here. You might just have to treat them as annuals and buy new plants next Spring. They do make a great show.

Reply:leave them out side they Can handle cold and even bloom all winter long
Reply:if you are able to create a mini greenhouse that will keep your plants warm enough and receive exposure to the sun that would be the ticket. a terrarium would be ideal. but remember that humidity is also involved. that would come from keeping the plants watered and warm.
