What is the best way to look after a pansie, so it will stay healthy and grow?

I don't want to be a plant killer!!

I bought a little plastic pot of pansies, and they're on the window ledge in the kitchen. Light gets in in the morning, but less gets in later. Is that enough to keep it alive?

I can put it in a different room where a constant amount of light gets in... If i put it in the garden i think i will forget to water it.

pansies need little sun and little water... they do need to be in a cooler place... I think keeping it inside will kill it for sure
Reply:Pansies are cool season plants, but they do prefer sunshine. If they don't get sunshine they will become leggy and scraggly. Once the temp rises to 85F and up, they go downhill fast. Report It
Reply:dress it in plaid and have its mother walk it to the school bus
Reply:Don't put it in the garden! It don't need too muchs sunshine. Only put it near a window that have little sunshine. The most important thing is do not give too much water. Be careful when watering and don't let water leave on the leaves.
