Could Polar Bears live in Antartica and eat Penguins?

Would be it be ethical? Would the penguins desert their egg?

Are Elephant Seals too much much for pansy northern bears?

Could Polar Bears live in Antartica and eat Penguins?
Introducing Polar bears to Antartic would be an environmental catastophe and would throw the whole eco-system out of balance. Probably.
Reply:(1.) No!!! (2.) Yes. (3.) I have seen footage of a polar bear killing a walrus its own size, so an elephant seal would be easy prey.
Reply:It is doubtful. There have been a few that have thought about. Most biologist would not be in favor of such a plan. I would not.

Penguins already have enough trouble existing day to day, why add another predator.

Polar bears can not catch and kill large adult seals.

Remember Antarctica is a whole different ecosystem that the Arctic. There is only one prominent resident, the emperor penguin.
Reply:Seals and penguins would be devastated. A polar bear could take on either one of those as it's diet already is ringed seals and bearded seals. But it would throw the whole eco system out of whack, seals and Penguins could become endangered, then theres the killer wales not getting enough food, not to mention the polar bears breeding.. I'm sure it's possible, but not logical.
Reply:Would you put up with a girl with the body of a polar bear who harps on you every bloody day, when meanwhile, you stay fit, look for work each and every day, have to deal with an insane father who can't stop screaming at 6 am? I certainly wouldn't.
