Does getting ur lip pierced hurt?

i am a pansy wen it come to piercings i only have my ear lobe nd eyebrow they didnt hurt at all but i think lip will cain does it hurt and if it does how much?

Different people feel different pain. Some will tell you it hurt horribly, some will say, not so bad. I imagine if youre a pansy, for you, it might hurt a bit more. But look at it this way. It takes them about .5 seconds to put that needle through your skin, and another 2 seconds to put in the jewelry, and then you're done. So even if it hurts HORRIBLY, if you really want it done, then 2.5 seconds of horrible pain is worth it, isn't it? Healing might be sore for a while but it's not unbearable.



I have my lip pierced, and for me, It wasn't horrible. I felt it, yes, but he put the needle through so fast that I didn't really have time to register extreme amounts of pain. As with all my piercings, him putting in the jewelry hurt more than the actual piercing but, still, it wasn't unbearable.



If you want it done, dont let the pain stop you. Once it's in and youre done, the pain of having it done will become a distant memory, and you'll have a sweet piercing.
Reply:Mine hurt when the needle went through but after that second of really sharp pain after 3 years it hasn't hurt since. It is over really quick I'm sure you could do it.

Reply:I heard that it was not as painful as you'd expect and also that it heals quite quickly. But not having first hand experience i would have to say only you can experience your pain so if you like the idea give it a shot.

Reply:Of course it will hurt a little, they're sticking a needle through your skin!!! But it's over quick, right? So you have your eyebrow done, I think you'll be okay

Reply:me and my friend both got our lips pierced at the same time and both of us thought it felt like a little pinch.In other words it does'nt really hurt!!!!!!!!
Reply:I used to have one...actually piercing it didn't hurt so much but the next few hours, even days kinda hurt me. I'm totally a wuss too so if I could take the pain so could you. Good luck!



Just make sure you really want it...after high school I took mine out and I still have the scar.
