Invited her to an event, she seems interested, how should i proceed... write back, ETC PLEASE HELP?

I invited a lot of friends to a reception the museum i work 4 is having. A woman I am interested in wrote back this

(she's N between jobs and $ is tight)

This sounds so lame, but if I can get my dad to buy me some gas, then I'd like to come... sounds like fun

this is what i plan on writing but dont want the dinner paying offer to come across as pansy,me buying her attention etc.

Hope you can make it.

If so and you'd like to join us ,for what is normally miyako sushi group after, I'll take care of your dinner so you dad doesnt have that on him as well ,')

A co-worker also has a show opening that night so here is the schedule

ill be at the museum til 8

then at carolina gallery for an hour for another opening which should prove interesting.

then off to miyako's or wherever for dinner.

If your in, let me know. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Is that good, sound pansy, Any suggestions, better things to write, better way of saying it. WHAT??

"Don't worry honey, everything is taken care of. I'd really like to see you so I hope you'll be there." Doesn't that sound better? You write like you're writing to a guy friend.
Reply:To much information... Just ask her out to dinner and let the rest take care of it self.
Reply:I like how you laid out the itinerary for the evening. Good job!

I would offer to loan her the gas money, so you can delete the part about the dinner not being on her dad. When you do offer to loan her the money, mention that you don't want to offend her.

Then close the letter with, "If you're in, let me know how I can send the gas money to you."
Reply:If that is you, then she may want to read it that way. Be yourself that's all anybody could ask for, plus she'll see how much you care, and nothing is wrong in the way you've wrote it, so keep it up, you're on the right track.
