I have VERY sensitive skin?

When I try to shave my legs, pits, or the hooch I get all these red bumps. It's quite irritating. I'm too much of a pansy to try waxing, so any suggestions?

I have VERY sensitive skin?
Sensitive skin is awesome.................... Yeah I've had some issues with razor burn before.

My two problems were that I changed my razor and I used shaving cream. So I stuck with a nicer venus razor and no shaving cream for me. Also, dont put lotion (or deoderant) on right after you shave. Sometimes it makes my legs burn and get some razor burn. Another thing that pretty much always works, that IIve tried, is using conditioner as shaving cream. I just go through conditioner so fast I stopped using it. Sometimes i use it when shaving my "hooch". After you shave it may be good to wipe your shaved spots down with a cool wash cloth.

So find a razor that works best for you, try to find the best quality you can. I would go with a venus, divine is what I use. And you can often find creams that help with razor burn in the healthy and beauty section of most stores like walmart or target. I wouldn't try too much though since you have sensitive skin! So stick with stuff you know is okay to use on your skin. And conditioner-wise I"d use the same stuff you use on your hair. Be sure to rinse thoroughly! Good luck!

If you cant fix it, I'd see a skin doctor... Or maybe a naturalpathic doctor.

much love,

Kayla
Reply:Go to "Lush" (if they have it in your country), they sell all organic products and have special ranges for people with sensitive skin. Plus the staff are always very friendly and know a lot about their products. I have sensitive skin too but i have never had a problem with anything i have gotten from there. Plus everything smells divine!! :)
Reply:U can go for Lazer Hair removing treatment..

it will not hurt your skin %26amp; it is a safe method also

( But Quite expensive)
Reply:get some of that shaving gel for women. they make some for sensitive skin

Reply:Don't wax.....sugar instead. It works just the same, but it's not as nasty. You get it in the wrong spot, you use a wet washcloth to remove it. It's very easy.
Reply:use lotion.
Reply:I have very sensitive skin too. It's better to shave with a new blade, after getting out of a warm(or hot) shower or bath. I don't wax either, cuzz it hurts like heck....
Reply:use a soap like dial or ivory they are less allergenic. try one of the triple edge blades they work better for me. also so not shave before tanning wait until after.
Reply:I have super sensitive skin as well and resorted to using hair remover cream. Try the Veet for sensitive skin you can buy it for around $ 5 at Wal-Mart.

You will always have some sort of irritation no matter what you do, because you have sensitive skin. I agree with you the waxing really hurts, but I would rather wax then shave or use the hair remover cream.
