Is it wrong of me not wanting to participate in organized religion?

I use too but didn't like to be judged by a bunch of hypocrites....I personally believe the way I want too and don't need a bunch of pansy assed two faced hypocrites throwing their garbage in my face on Sunday and acting like they care for human kind. Give me a break.

No. It's not wrong at all. I don't either. I still believe in God and an afterlife (more like a re-birth if I need to), but I don't associate myself with Church or "religion."

No, it is not wrong. In fact, the church age ended in 1988. We are presently in the period called the Great Tribulation which precedes the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ and the end of the world. The Bible tells us that satan is ruling in ALL the local churches at this time. The poor people still attending churches do not realize that the Holy Spirit has departed from the church(es) and so it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to be saved there regardless of the accuracy of the preaching. God has commanded the true believers to get out of the churches (Matthew 24:15, 16; Revelation 18:4). 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 states, "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."



Chruches are composed of mostly adults but there are going to be children there and also babies! This is a terrible situation.



If you'll be hones, everyone of us is a hypocrite at some time or another.

I think you could moderate your language, but agree with your sentiment.

Reply:Hey, you have a nice day too! And right on. Organized religion is for those who want to be religiously organized and herded like sheep. I am against it also. God did not create sunday mornings following saturday night for us to get up early and sit on hard wooden benches and listen to some kid tell us what to think. I have my own brain, and I like to use it.

A hypocrite is someone who refuses to go to church because of all the hypocrites there.
Reply:Dear gods no, please stay away from it! Organized religion is exactly what you say! Hypocrisy! Though you could have worded it a bit better, (you know, so you wouldn't piss of the Theists too much) but hey, freedom of speech all the way!!! So no it is NOT wrong, and if you ask me, if the Head Honcho is up there, I don't think that He likes organized religion, too much politics, hypocrisy, and whiners.
