I need to know if these are correct. I had to complete the syllogisms?

1. All fragile things are breakable things. some glasses are fragile things. Therefore, some glasses are breakable things.

2. All mammals are warm-blooded animals. all whales are mammal. Therefore, all whales are warm-blooded animals.

3. all books are thains with pages. some books are mysteries. Therefore, some books are things with pages.

4. all flowers are prettty objects. all pansies are flowers. therefore all panies are pretty objects.

5. no animals are plants. all sheep are animals. therefore all animals are plants

I need to know if these are correct. I had to complete the syllogisms?
Three and five are wrong.
Reply:3. NO, all mysteries are things with pages, except where my socks go.

5. No sheep are plants.

Are you studying philosophy at Texas Tech or something? Houghton Baker Dalrymple, my father-in-law (deceased) taught philosophy at UTA. Check out his 'Logic for Laymen' but remeber he read algebra books for relaxation.
Reply:All syllogisms are nonsense and prove nothing about the external world. This is a syllogism. Therefore this is nonsense.
Reply:3 and 5 are wrong all books have pages, and animals are not plants
