I just read that they're extending troop deployments to 15 months. If that's how you're rewarded for volunteering ...

And let's not forget "stop-loss," the under-the-table draft that keeps people enlisted BEYOND the time they signed on for.

This is dishonest and abusive. The executive branch does NOT support the troops. Support involves respect.

No,they know how wildly hated that would be.But I do know that it is veryyyyyy disrespectfull of the Executive Branch to extending deployments.That would be a major detterment to me from joining.But you must remember that they are going low on troops so for those who support the war it is a good idea.
