Do you really think US soldier want the draft!!!!???

There is no way in gods green earth I want some little pansy that is scared of the boogyman under his bed let alone the insurgents firing AK-47s at me to "cover me while i move"! I dont wanna serve with these people that are just going to act miserable the WHOLE time we are there! I been to Iraq and im headed back, trust me we dont need or want you over there, just stay cozzy in your bed and keep the care packages coming please thats all we need!! Thank You all for your support and God Bless you!!

Do you really think US soldier want the draft!!!!???
Excuse me. but I was drafted in 1967 and served in Vietnam 1967-1968. I gave the United States Army, The United States Army Reserve, and National Guard service in five states, 24 and a half years of honorable service. I also did service in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm 1990-91. If you are on station in Iraq, good luck and stay safe. In the meantime stay the hell off peoples honor who served with unselfish honor, and dedication to duty after being drafted!
Reply:Your right I served too and there are already enough pu ss ys in there. Don't need anymore.
Reply:AMEN brother in arms, I had enough of a time covering my *** and other" trained "soldiers to have the time to "baby-sit" too...(USN/UDT 1964-1970,VietNam campaign)
Reply:The Middle East will never be peaceful without ending the Israeli occupation. This is the conclusion of the UN, EU, Backer-Hamilton report, and President Carter new book.
Reply:I'd only wish someone who volunteered to defend our country watching my back. Americans are too ignorant today and many would just slump behind a wall while the enlisted gained ground.
Reply:The ONLY people who want a draft are the America-hating Liberals. And the only reason they want it is so they can ***** about it and blame conservatives for it.
Reply:It is really not up to them to decide whether a draft will be reinstated.
Reply:As the wife of a former infantryman, I don't want the draft. I know my husband wouldn't either. Like you said, you need someone out there with you who's willing to "move out and draw fire".

I liked knowing all the men in my husband's unit wanted to be there and they were there for each other too.

Stay safe!
Reply:I agree. A draft will bring about the same problems as we had in Vietnam. A person doesn't do a job well if they don't like it.

A draft is only used as a last resort.
Reply:Thats sooo true I'm really not looking foward to going to Iraq but if I have to then I'll serve my year in the sandbox
Reply:i very much doubt that the US will draft for the iraq insurgents, its the next war that you guys will have that problem NORTH KOREA ''watch this space''
Reply:Amen... I'm ex-Navy Aircrew, and I wouldn't want draftee's in the military of today. Military life, technology, techniques, and training, just aren't the same as during the 1950's through 1972. I wouldn't want a draftee maintaining MY helicopter while they (he or she) have their mind busy bemoaning the fact that they are stuck in a paying job at the "invitation of their friends and neighbors".

Thank you for YOUR service. I don't just stay cozy in my bed though... I volunteer about 10 hours a week to the USO, plus working with my VFW sending care packages to my ship-mates... and even those wearing BDU's and on the ground.

Buy American, Serve America, and Pray for our Brothers %26amp; Sisters... even Uncle Sam's Misguided Children (USMC).
Reply:Yes. I am a U.S. soldier and I want the draft.

Mostly due to the fact that I am tired of the B.S.

have you been to a VFW or such lately.

I am sickened by it. It is full of non military people who say thank you for a job well done. They have no idea of who I am. They speak out about what the military should be doing, but they are cowards who have no sense of selfless service.

I think it would make Americans really open their eyes on what we do and the impact of our foreign policies.

Take them out of the comfort of their living rooms and put them on guard in the middle of Iraq during Rammadan. See if their opinion about our foreign policy changes. We shouldn't have to be main force in the war on terror.

I am just tired of American hipocracy, and ignorance. It's ok, for other people to stand up for our freedoms, but they just abuse the system. I am tired of Freeloaders. Its time to get real, America. If the war on terror, gets out of control, there will be no where to hide. So, take off your blinders, and do something productive.

Hell, even I can say good job, and go back to drinking my coffee and watching the news.
Reply:Its the civilians that don't want the draft...I doubt the soldiers care one way or the other since they're already in the military.
Reply:are you telling me that the first time that you went over there that you were not scared of what was going to happen??...that you just jumped up and down and said ooohhh goody i am going to iraq....i cant wait to be shot at????anyone would be miserable being over there...away from their loved ones..knowing that today could be the last day...i think that some people are just better at hiding it...i am proud of anyone that goes over there.just because some are not afraid to admit that they are scared does not make them any less of a solider.that is just my thought.thank you for doing what you have to do.

not everyone WANTS to be in the military..but that does not mean if they were drafted that they would not do what they got to do and make sure that it is done right.my husband wants to join the military but with two young children i am against it and am not willing to let that happen..but if he were drafted he would do all that you guys do.
Reply:ohhhh we care. i don't want the rich liberal ***** that are going to cry to mommy and daddy when there number comes up in the draft to be fighting next to me. I'm sure there could be good out of it but most are probably a bunch of poonannys that don't want to. Join now and be a POG, ts the best advice i got for those peple.!!
