Do you think life was more exciting back in the day when people still had morals and believed in something?
Life can never be more exciting than now because now is when we live. We weren't there back in the day. At any and all times all we have ever really done is pay lip service to Morals and Beliefs. Those who set the standards did not themselves truly live by them. For example, back in the days of the movie codes, the censoring board members would watch the uncut films, make their judgments, and order the changes.

While no one else in the U.S. were allowed to see the films as originally intended, they who made the rules actually saw them. Millions of people were denied that which the rule makers freely enjoyed. At the same time, many film makers, fanciers, etc. were making out with stars, starlets, child actors, and each other like mad while paying off parents, spouses, and newspapers to keep it all quiet. American business and manufacturing made millions off weapons of mass destruction sold abroad to destabilized nations which encouraged seemingly endless wars. Chemical, Nuclear, and Biological exposures were secretly commonplace and deemed to be necessary for the war effort. So, NO, not more exciting.
Reply:yes. remember the baby boomers in the 30's and 40's. But the liberals have taken God away. The same God that made America Great.
Reply:You mean when people believed in women as a second class citizen, blacks were savages, Native Americans were shooting practice, people with mental problems were possessed by the Devil?

Reply:When was that? Did I miss it? I'll admit things seem to be much worse these days, though. I don't consider myself to be part of that 'we'. I wish I could find at least a few others that feel and think as I do.
