um, it really doesnt matter. there is no difference in who brings up the topic.

Reply:who cares? why do u need a label dude? to feel more manly? just do the same thing without a label. depending on how old you are,its just more pressure,especially for the girl.
Reply:well.. the guy should be asking the girl out, but it's not totally uncommon for a girl to ask a guy.. if you have the chance though, do it yourself

Reply:It's the person who wants to know. Doesn't make a difference who asks. If you really want to know, just tell the girl that you need some clarity before you make your next move.

Reply:personally i think the guy should be the one to bring it up, but if he doesn't and you are ready. there is nothing wrong with you starting the conversation.
Reply:It depends... I mean they both have to agree in the end anyway before something happens no matter who brings it up.
Reply:I think that any one can. If you are intereseted in taking it further let her know whats up. Or you could just ask her to be your girlfriend and skip the conversation and go straigt to the yes and no. If she wants to be your girlfriend she will say yes and if she has any concerns about then you have something to talk about.

Reply:depends mostly on what is being talked about. it really could be both since this isn't an assigned task, but sometimes you get lucky and both have something to say. sometimes at the same time
