Why have we become so PC?

The dam hippie generation....thats why.....the flower children of the 60's with their peace and love has warped this country in a pansy *** place where you can't even speak your mind without offending someone or being sued because you offended a certain race religon of sex....People will soon see that if we don't suck it up...this country is lost....

Reply:Some people get being "honest" with being obnoxious. There is no reason or profit to being offensive for no other reason than to be offensive. I mean, what do you get out of calling a person "fat" or "short" or "crippled" other than a foolish sense of power that you made somebody else angry or hurt?
