Harry Potter 8?

I think there will be a Harry potter 8 because J.K.R left us hanging. there are so many unanswered questions:

1. Where do Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione live?

2. Did Neville and Luna hook up?

3. Is Draco's wife really Pansy Parkinson?

4. Did George really keep the Wizard Wheezes going?

5. What does Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Draco etc do for a living?

6. Did Harry just leave the Resurrection Stone there for anyone to find?

7. Did all of Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione's kids make Gryffindor?

8. Who is the new headmaster of Hogwarts?

9. Does Teddy Tonks marry Victiore Weasley?

10. What happened to all of the other characters?(Hagrid and other students?)

Harry Potter 8?
when have u ever read a book that answers alllllll of ur questions?
Reply:The second girl is retarded.

there will be 8 movies!! Report It
Reply:For those very reasons (so many unanswered questions), there will be a Harry Potter Encyclopedia. JKR has already answered some of those questions in interviews, though:

2) Neville %26amp; Luna - no. Luna becomes a wizarding naturalist and marries a man she meets on her travels.

4) Yes. Ron comes to work in the shop for a few years, before he becomes an Auror.

5) Harry - Head Auror

Ginny - plays Quidditch with the Holyhead Harpies, retires to raise her family, then becomes The Prophet's Quidditch corresondent

Ron - Auror, working with Harry

Hermione - works in the MoM: First, in the Office for Welfare of Magical Creatures (something like that), later in Magical Law Enforcement

Luna - already mentioned

Neville - Herbology Professor at Hogwarts

6) JKR speculated the centaur herd stomped the Stone into the ground during the battle, so it's not likely to be found again.
Reply:There is actually not going to be another book. J.K. Rowling said that she would like to do some other books. I also suggest reading the article on wikipedia about harry potter. It's really good.
Reply:I wish, but I doubt it. Read this interview with JKR:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070730/ap_e...
Reply:I can only hope that big business makes her write another Harry Potter book so they can make more money and so dorks like the millions that stood in line for the book the night it came out can sit outside for a long time again(hopefully in the winter)
Reply:No there won't be a Harry Potter 8 exactly.

JK Rowling has said in interviews that she will one day [not anytime soon but one day] write an encyclipedia of Harry Potter and say what happens to everyone and it will fill in obvious questions.

Some of your questions have actually been awnsered by JK Rowling in interviews [questions 2, 4, 5, 6 %26amp; 8] so you might want to check those out. I know they were done through the Today show and an online chat but www.mugglenet.com has the exact links %26amp; transcriptions.

Awnsers:

2- no. Neville becomes a professor at hogwarts and Luna is a Naturalist who marries another Naturalist [whom we don't know] later on.

4- Ron joined George for a few years in helping him run the buisness.

5- Harry is head of the Auror department, Ginny played quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies and later became senior quidditch correspondant for the Daily Prophet, Ron helped out George but switched over to work with Harry in the Auror department, Hermione started out in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures but changed and moved high up in the Department of Magical Law Inforcement, Luna's a naturalist, and I have no clue what Draco does. All of them help rebuild the Ministry of Magic so that it's no longer corrupt.

6- yes, but unless Harry eventually told some random person that he dropped it out there I don't think it will be found for a long time.

8- the headmaster is someone that we don't know. JK Rowling said that McGonagall was "getting on a bit"
Reply:One of the problems with killing off a villian is that you kill the story. The only way there could be a Harry VIII would be for something worse to come around, and JK made Voldemort into Hitler squared, so you can't get too much worse. It's like when Beowulf killed Grendel, once he was done and you needed another story, what could he do other than fight Grendel's mother?

I would like to see the world JK wrote about live on in some way. Maybe an animated Potter kids with the children mentioned in the epilogue attending Hogwarts and doing their thing. If the next bit of fiction written for that fantasy world makes no attempt to be an epic, it could be entertaining, at least for kids.

And yes, Harry did leave the ressurection stone in the forest for anyone to find--that was in the book.
Reply:ah i guss you dont watch the news they already said that
Reply:She actually answered these questions in an interview, there is some good stuff, so I'll give you the link and you can read it.

Whatever she doesn't answer she will, eventually, make an encyclopedia.
Reply:although many of us would love an eighth book, there isn't goning to be one. though j.k. rowling did say that she intends to write an encyclopedia. she has answered many of your questions in her interviews. 2. luna married the grandson of newt scagmeor( writer of fantastic beasts and where to find them.) not neville. 4. george still runs the shop. 5. harry is head of auoror dept., she said 2 diff. things for ron- he's an auoror and that he help george w/ the shop. ginny became a quiddtich player and then a writer and mother. hermione is law enforcement. luna is a naturalist. 6. harry left the stone but rowling sais it probabaly got buried whrn the crntaurs ran during the final battle at hogwarts. the reat she may answer in the encyclopedia or we can assume and guess.
Reply:You are so right. Those are all good questions and there is so much more.

I watched an interview with her on Today show and she said that there is definately not going to be another book, but honestly I think that the temptation of breaking yet another records in sales (and those extra bucks that come with it) will be too much to restist for J.K. Rowling.

I hope she does it soon
Reply:JK has done a few interviews where she has said that she is not going to say she'll bury Harry Potter for life, she may go back to it in the future but for now she has given some info: Harry and Ron became Aurors and Hermione works in the Ministry of Magic. Professor McGonagel becomes the head of Hogwarts. I guess we can just keep hoping she'll do a number 8!! For now, I think she deserves a rest.
Reply:J.K. Rowling might make a Harry Potter encyclopedia.

Well, here's the answers that she did answer in interviews and in the book.

1. Unknown

2. J.K. Rowling said that she never considered it in the beginning, and finally she figured they might have.

3. Unknown

4. Most likely J.K. Rowling said.

5. Harry is head of the auror department, Ron works under Harry, Hermonie is high in the ranks of magical law enforcement.

6. Yes, he and Dumbledore figured no one could find it out there.

7. Unknown

8. Unknown, but someone new

9. Probably

10. UNKNOWN
Reply:she said that she wrote a long epilogue which explained all of that but said "it was too neat" so she edited a lot out. she said that she mite write a harry potter encyclopedia which will explain all of that and more.
Reply:jk rowling already said that she might write a "harry potter encyclopedia" that answers all the unanswered questions. i already read a few answers on mugglenet. check it out-
Reply:i hate harry potter so i dont really think it matters
Reply:She's not going to write any more Harry Potter. Except for an encyclopedia.
Reply:She has said all along that she only was going to write 7 books and something tells me she won't change her mind. She just seems like someone who will leave you hanging with those to let your imagination soar.
Reply:No, there won't be another book. Harry and Ron work in the Auror Dept at the ministry. Hermoine works in magickal law enforcement. She was on Dateline and said she wouldn't write anymore HP books. She is taking time off and just writing for herself.

Here's my twist:

Ginny starts having affairs because of Harry's obsession with father figures. Hermoine leaves Ron after he names their second child, a boy, Parsnip. She is soooo tired of having to live with Ron's parents. George becomes a member of the clergy. Nevil becomes the Sexiest Wizard Alive as voted by Prophet readers. Luna poses for PLAYWIZZARD. Her issue is the largest selling issue in history. Hagrid marries Madame Maxine and has 7 rather tiny children. Draco becomes an award winning folk singer along with his family, "The Singing Malfoys"
Reply:Harry's saga is finished. J.K. left it up to us to decide what happened to everyone.

(I for one think Luna and Neville totally hooked up.)

HOWEVER I think she should write more about Teddy Lupin/ Victoire Weasley's generation.

also #8, J.K. stated in an interview that Minerva McGonnagal doesn't become Headmistress, which is what I thought would happen.
Reply:You have to buy the Encylipedia. go over to http://www.mugglenet.con
Reply:Oh man, don't a bunch of us wish you were right!

Still, here are some answers to your questions -- right out of JKR's mouth! (well, fingertips)

http://news.scotsman.com/entertainment.c...
Reply:I think she left those to our imagination.
Reply:no there won't be one but how i wish there would be!
Reply:There won't be another book, shes already told us that.. And those things aren't really important. I think she wants you to make that part up for yourself. She might talk about them in her Hary Potter encyclopidia though.
Reply:SPOILER ALERT: Those who do not wish to know what happens to the characters after the book ends should stop reading here.

Rowling said the world was a sunnier, happier place after the seventh book and the death of Voldemort.

Harry Potter, who always voiced a desire to become an Auror, or someone who fights dark wizards, was named head of the Auror Department under the new wizarding government headed by his friend and ally, Kingsley Shacklebolt.

His wife, Ginny Weasley, stuck with her athletic career, playing for the Holyhead Harpies, the all-female Quidditch team. Eventually, Ginny left the team to raise their three children — James, Albus and Lily — while writing as the senior Quidditch correspondent for the wizarding newspaper, the Daily Prophet.

Harry's best friend Ron Weasley joined his brother, George, as a partner at their successful joke shop, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Hermione Granger, Ron's wife and the third person of the series' dark wizard fighting trio, furthered the rights of subjugated creatures, such as house elves, in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures before joining the magical law enforcement squad. The couple had two children — Rose and Hugo.

Luna Lovegood, Harry's airily distracted friend with a love for imaginary animals who joins the fight against Voldemort in the Order of the Phoenix, becomes a famous wizarding naturalist who eventually marries the grandson of Newt Scamander, author of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

And what Muggle, or non-wizard, song would have been played at the funeral of Albus Dumbledore, the most brilliant and talented wizard the world had ever known?

"Surely 'I Did It My Way' by Frank Sinatra," Rowling told her fans, referring to the song "My Way," written by Paul Anka but popularized by Sinatra, among other singers.

As the chat wrapped up, Rowling thanked readers for their loyalty to the series.
Reply:most of those questions have been answered by her in an interview

she is going to write an hp enclyopedia
