Other than Ron, who is the best person for Hermione?

Male or female, of course. My personal favorites are Pansy and Snape.

Other than Ron, who is the best person for Hermione?
That Russian Dragon Slayer dude form the last movie (or was he Romanian?)
Reply:Snape? Pansy? Ewww! Sikko!

Ron %26amp; Hermione
Reply:um. i dunno what ur like.. talkin bout.. but.. um. joe?
Reply:me, I think shes amazing.
Reply:I'll get flamed for this, but I'd go with Neville as a 2nd choice after Ron. He's developed into an interesting character after his time in the D.A. and the raid on the ministry.
Reply:Harry idn thats a wierd ?
Reply:Harry of course
Reply:Fred or George Weasley. No, think about it: they are only about a year and a half older than her. And Hermione needs more fun in her life. And the Weasley twins (or at least one of them) needs more seriousness.
Reply:Ron...no not the Harry Potter one.. Ronald McDonald...haha
Reply:malfoy,lol
Reply:Mgh. I love speculating on Hermione relationships just because there's so many possibilities.

After the age of about ten, I never liked the Ron/Hermione pairing, because I always thought that Ron was more of a brotherly kind of guy. He wasn't really the type of person who would have stimulating conversations about the meaning of life with her or whatever. They were attracted to each other, yes, especially with all the bickering and whatnot, but it's always been just puppy love in my opinion.

While Harry is slightly better in the brains departament than Ron, he is also like some kind of older brother for her. I can't really see them being together.

Many of the older Weasleys could work with Hermione. Fred and George are both ridiculously intelligent, as shown by some of the products they think of, and they are lighthearted enough that they could balance each other out. Hermione would properly ground one of them, and he would in turn get her to lighten up. (Head in the clouds, feet on the ground!)

Bill especially could work, if he wasn't getting married. We don't know much about him, but he's a codebreaker, which takes a certain degree of mental competence.

Charlie is a possibility, but I don't really fancy him as being quite right for her.

Neville is also a possible match. Just because he's not amazing at transfiguration or anything doesn't meant that he's not intelligent, as shown by his skill in herbology. He's timid, but courageous when it counts. He certainly seems to have a crush on her, at least.

Draco Malfoy could work if he showed just a bit more maturity (which seems to be standard equipment to be built into the fanon Dracos, but unfortunately not in canon.) He is undoubtedly intelligent, and a pairing with him has the same appeal as a Harry/Draco pairing. The meeting of opposites. Unfortunately, I think Draco works better with Harry than with Hermione.

Blaise Zabini and Hermione could work, but only because we know pretty much nothing about Zabini, except that he's stereotypical Slytherin. There's never been any indication that Hermione could be anything but an enemy on principle of Zabini. So, possible, but certainly not the best person for her.

I really can't quite see Hermione with another girl. I've read the fanfiction, and she's really very OOC the entire time. I don't think she would work with Ginny, or Fleur, or Pansy, for that matter. Certainly not with any of the girls in her year.

However, I love the Hermione/Snape pairing. Provided it's not some kind of pedophilic "let me beat obedience into you. Now, say yes, professor." But, let's face it. Snape is intelligent. And fanon Snape certainly tends to be incredibly sexy. I mean, he challenges in every sense. Physically, (IF you know what I mean... ;P) mentally, emotionally.

It is a constant battle with him, but a good sort of battle. There's certainly some explosive chemistry with them.

If it's written in just the right way, Snape/Hermione ends up being some of the best fiction in the Harry Potter fandom.

Heck, Snape/Hermione makes me understand the appeal of Lucious/Hermione, but I still think that S/H is better.

So, in short, my answer is that the possibilities are endless, but as for, BEST match? Snape wins.

At least, in my book.
