Pansies in Snow?

It snowed recently like a foot and Pansies were just planted earlier this week before the snow. Will the pansies survive?

It depends upon the temperature and the breed of pansies. There are specially bred pansies that are meant to grow in the colder temperatures. In fact, I think that "Pansies in the snow" may be the names of one of the types. I have planted flowers in my window box in early April and I live North. There have been light snows and the flowers, many times pansies, did not freeze. I hope that you dug them out!!!
