Who was the best Phantom out of the Phantom of the Opera?

I personally liked Gerard Butler the best. He had so much power to his voice, I was weeping at the end. Plus, even with the scarred face, the man is sexy! Christine should have stayed with him, not that other pansy.

Reply:Gerard Butler is good. I watched the D.V.D today. Personally I prefer Michael Crawford as the Phantom and Sarah Brightman as Christine.
Reply:You obviously have not seen the stage version. My favorite Phantom is Gary Mauer. He just finished playing the Phantom on the US National Tour with his wife playing Christine. Amazing couple.
